Alton council approves 3rd Avenue flood-repair contract after public hearing

The council then adopted three related measures by roll call: Resolution 25-07 (adopting plans, specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost), Resolution 25-08 (making award of the construction contract) and Resolution 25-09 (approving the construction contract and bond). Each resolution passed with all five council members voting aye and no nays.
