Andrew City Council adopts Resolution 2024-10, Hazard Mitigation Plan

AndrewCity Council on Sept. 10 adopted Resolution 2024-10, titled the Hazard Mitigation Plan, after a motion by Councilmember Regan and a second from Councilmember Jamison; the clerk recorded the vote as "all ayes."
The adoption occurred alongside approval of routine business. Earlier in the meeting Councilmember Regan moved, and Councilmember Till seconded, to approve the consent agenda, which included minutes of the Aug. 13 regular meeting, the clerk's financial report and the itemized accounts payable list. Councilmember Rowan later moved, seconded by Regan, to approve the AFR report; both motions carried on "all ayes" votes.
The consent packet presented vendors and amounts including Scott Portz Construction ($6,000.00 for a roof), PeopleService ($2,165.17 for water/wastewater service) and Power Service Company ($2,087.24 for generator repair). The clerk also reported gross wages of $3,614.33 and August fund totals showing revenues of $24,337.85 and expenses of $21,307.07.
Mayor Mike Roeder opened the meeting at 6:32 p.m.; the council adjourned at 7:28 p.m. Council members Regan, Rowan, Till and Jamison were present; Williams was absent.
