Mike Meyer of the Public Works Department told the council that the city needs to either cover or fill the municipal pool to prevent it from filling with rainwater and to avoid paying insurance on an open pool. Council members discussed options and chose to table the issue until staff can present additional information and alternatives.
On property maintenance issues, the council directed two property owners — Brandon Stohr and Shason Kramer — to cement their driveways by October 17, 2025. After speaking with Kanne Woodley, council members set a completion date of no later than November 1, 2025 for the missing siding on Woodley’s addition.
The record does not specify enforcement steps beyond the deadlines nor whether staff will return with cost estimates or citations if compliance is not met.
