The board voted to award the contract.
On Rock Creek Park, the board held a public hearing and approved resolution 2026‑170 establishing Sanitary Improvement District (SID) 92 for park improvements near South 156th Street and Giles Road. The project, described in the staff presentation, removes and replaces rubber surfacing, upgrades sidewalks and benches, removes selected trees and shrubs, and makes repairs to park structures. The reported project cost is $214,000; no agency representative for the engineering firm was present to answer debt‑impact questions, the board noted. The motion to approve the SID passed unanimously.
Both items passed by board vote and will proceed under county procurement and SID procedures; construction schedules and final contract documents will be handled through Facilities Management and the Purchasing Department.
