Agency approves small boundary removal of roughly 13.85 acres near Papillion water facility
Summary

The Sarpy County and Cities Wastewater Agency approved a boundary adjustment on June 24 that removes roughly 13.85 acres from the agency’s jurisdiction along the southern boundary near the Papillion water treatment facility.
Project engineer Jeff Thompson said the request came from Sarpy County and is related to a larger roughly 170-acre residential estate development; staff recommended approval after noting that past master plan adjustments had added acreage to the agency and that removing this parcel still left a net acreage gain compared with the original boundary. The board approved Resolution 18 unanimously.
The removal does not change the agency’s overall policy direction for Phase 1B work; staff will update jurisdiction maps and continue permitting and right-of-way planning in the area.
