At its June 24 meeting, the Sarpy County and Cities Wastewater Agency approved three professional services renewals covering pump maintenance, flow metering and lab sampling.
Project engineer Jeff Thompson said the resolution to renew Electric Pump Inc. continues direct contract work for annual pump and motor inspections at lift stations; the board approved the measure unanimously. The board also renewed the RJN Group contract to provide monthly flow metering and data analysis used to bill customers and identify anomalies. Finally, the agency approved a sampling and testing services renewal with MEA Engineering Science & Technology tied to the equalization basin and NPDES permit compliance; Thompson noted those costs are a pass-through to the data center operator (North Brook Raven/Meta) and the arrangement was acceptable to Meta.
The approvals were routine renewals of existing relationships; board members asked clarifying questions about scopes but there were no substantive objections. Votes were recorded in the affirmative on all three resolutions.
