The Village Board approved routine and administrative business including minutes, claims and agreements during its Feb. 18 meeting.
By Resolution No. 26‑015 the Board approved the minutes of its Jan. 21, 2026 meeting. The Board approved the Abstract and Schedule of Claims dated Feb. 18, 2026 totaling $147,643.83 (Resolution No. 26‑016), professional fee claims totaling $14,192.17 (Resolution No. 26‑017), and LOC draw fund claims totaling $86,236.98 (Resolution No. 26‑018). Motions carried with Trustee Michael Humphrey recorded as absent.
The Board approved a one‑year Fueling Agreement with the Town of Ramapo (Resolution No. 26‑019) allowing the Village’s two vehicles to fuel at the Town facility at cost plus a 20% administrative fee; the Mayor was authorized to execute the agreement.
Per Resolution No. 26‑020, and following correspondence from the Rockland County District Attorney, the Board agreed that certain Justice Court prosecutions (including specified Vehicle and Traffic Law matters) may be handled by the Village Attorney or Assistant Village Attorneys in Village Justice Court. The Board also authorized the Village Attorney (Resolution No. 26‑021) to file a Summons and Complaint in Rockland County Supreme Court seeking relief regarding an allegedly illegal multi‑family residence at 36 Memorial Drive and related relief; the resolution authorizes further enforcement actions on behalf of the Village.
Deputy Mayor Stacy Caridi, Trustee Bruce Egenhauser and Trustee David Rose sponsored motions in support of these approvals; votes carried unanimously among members present.
