Calhoun County supervisors approve agenda, minutes and ISAC Wellness Agreement; Twinterfest fireworks permit tabled

The Calhoun County Board of Supervisors conducted routine procedural votes at its Jan. 6 meeting in Rockwell City.
The board approved the meeting agenda in a motion by Dave George, seconded by Cory Ridgely. Members then approved the Jan. 2 minutes in a motion by Ridgely, seconded by George; both motions carried with "ayes all." Later in the meeting County Recorder Cathy Voith presented the county's 2026 ISAC Wellness Program, and the board moved (motion by George, seconded by Ridgely) to approve the 2026 ISAC Wellness Agreement and authorize the chairman to sign; the motion carried with "ayes all." The board also tabled a fireworks permit request for Twinterfest until the Jan. 13 meeting.
The meeting concluded with a motion by George, seconded by Ridgely, to adjourn until Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 9:00 a.m. The meeting minutes list Scott Jacobs, Dave George and Cory Ridgely as the members present; each recorded vote is summarized as "ayes all."
