Manalapan Planning Board finds Ordinance No. 2025-20 consistent with Master Plan

At the Sept. 25 meeting, Planner Jennifer Beahm summarized proposed amendments in Ordinance No. 2025-20 to Chapter 95 of the Manalapan Code, which would refine permitted-use lists, tighten definitions and add uses such as indoor recreation. Beahm recommended the Board find the ordinance consistent with the Township Master Plan.
Board members had no questions and no public comment was offered. Barry Jacobson moved that Ordinance No. 2025-20 is substantially consistent with the Master Plan; John Castronovo seconded. The motion carried with all members present voting yes; Mayor Eric Nelson and Chief Hogan were absent.
The Board's consistency finding is an advisory opinion to the Township Committee and is recorded in the Planning Board minutes.
