Manalapan Planning Board approves zoning consistency resolution and a minor site plan; sets next meeting for May 22

The Township of Manalapan Planning Board on May 8 voted to find Ordinance 2025-02, the AH-TH Affordable Housing Overlay District, consistent with the master plan and approved a separate minor site plan application for Michael and Jennifer Acquaviva.
The consistency resolution for Ordinance 2025-02 was approved by a motion from Barry Fisher, seconded by Steve Kastell; all eligible members voted yes. The board then approved application PBE2504 by motion of Barry Jacobson, seconded by John Castronovo, granting minor site-plan relief for a 424-square-foot building addition at 189 Hwy 9.
The board also reviewed conditions and items discussed during the meeting’s MSK Manalapan LLC hearing and set the next meeting for May 22, 2025 at 7 p.m. (advanced from 7:30 p.m. for an expanded agenda to address the Affordable Housing Element).
