Attorney Peter Klouser told the board that the minor subdivision, originally approved Jan. 9, 2025 with a resolution memorialized Feb. 13, 2025, must be filed within 190 days in New Jersey. Because as‑built drawings and roadway improvements delayed filing, the applicant requested an additional 190 days; board counsel noted the original 190‑day period established a deadline of Aug. 22, 2025 and that an approved extension would begin Aug. 23, 2025. With the extension, the applicant would retain 190 days from that date to record the subdivision.
The board acknowledged the project is near completion and described the extension as largely a technical matter. A motion by John Castronovo, seconded by Steve Kastell, approved the extension; the board vote was recorded as yes: Fisher, Castronovo, Jacobson, Kwaak, McNaboe, Hogan, Kastell, Nelson, Pollifrone; absent: Brown; not eligible: Givelekian.
Next steps: Applicants must finalize any outstanding as‑built corrections and complete roadway improvements necessary to file the subdivision deed within the extended period.
