The chair called for a verbal assent and the motion passed. "I move that we remove Kings from the last sentence ... and then send the letter as is," Halen said; Carowana seconded.
Separately the committee discussed a draft letter focused on concerns about VO e‑bikes parked on sidewalks and blocking accessible routes. Committee members suggested more assertive language and asked staff to circulate Amanda Hammer’s edits and return the item in August for fuller discussion. "...maybe Cassandra can send out your edits to the rest of us and then we will discuss this further at the August meeting," the chair said.
