At the Aug. 6 meeting Silver Creek Township supervisors voted to begin a formal notice process for property at 3864 150th St NW after owner John Haack attended and described repairs he plans to make.
Vice Chairman Mike Helman provided Mr. Haack with the applicable county ordinance and told him the township expects the property to be brought back into compliance with the same conditions that were resolved in 2014. The board placed Mr. Haack on notice that no additional material may be brought to the property, and asked him to report to the Sept. 3, 2024 meeting with an update on progress.
The motion to start the notice and clean-up process was moved by Vice Chairman Helman and seconded by Supervisor Ryan Nelson and carried 4-0. Mr. Haack said he is cleaning the garage and intends to address the roof and garage-door repairs needed to comply.
