On instructional items, the board approved a Kendall Hunt quote for 6th–8th grade math workbooks totaling $2,361.30 (motion by Tony Recker), and approved a fall-semester online Spanish agreement with Logra Learning at $285 per student (motion by Julie Uhlenkamp). The board also approved qualifying FCCLA members to attend the National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., in July, and approved an additional stipend as presented; the transcript does not specify stipend recipients or dollar amounts.
The board considered Backbone Bluegrass Festival’s request to use school vehicles; a motion to approve received no second and therefore failed.
