Select Board approves Jianna’s Pizzeria license transfer and three one-day alcohol permits (4-1 votes on one-day permits)

The Danvers Select Board on March 3 closed a public hearing and unanimously approved the transfer of a Common Victualler’s License to Duke & Fanol LLC d/b/a Jianna’s Pizzeria for 110 Newbury Street. Owners Konstantinos Panolis and Sandra Panolis told the Board they plan to shift the menu toward Greek-focused offerings and described their long-standing ties to the Danvers community.
At the same meeting the Board reviewed three one-day wine and malt license requests submitted by Jill Sawyer for events at the Larkin Center to be served by Vinwood Catering: a NorthShore Tech Council networking event on March 5 (5:00–7:00 P.M.), a campaign kickoff for Jamie Belsito on March 14 (4:00–6:00 P.M.), and a fundraiser for teacher Greg Gagne on March 21 (service beginning at 6:00 P.M.; last call 9:00 P.M.). Each one-day license was approved by a 4-1 vote, with Select Board Member Michael Bean recording the lone 'no' vote on each motion.
The Board did not place additional conditions on the Jianna’s license transfer beyond standard licensing requirements. The Town Clerk will process the license paperwork and file the official records following the vote.
