At its Feb. 25 meeting the Danvers Retirement Board approved a set of routine administrative items and personnel actions.
The board unanimously approved the minutes of Jan. 28, the December pre‑ and pre‑close cashbooks, and the bills payable warrants. The board accepted reported sales and purchases as presented and approved purchases and bills indicated in the packet. Payroll for February was reported at $1,296,389.27 and February expenses at $919,070.60; those items were reviewed and accepted.
Personnel actions approved unanimously included the addition of new members listed in the packet (examples include Ava Carpenter, Maura Hughes and Katelin LaMontagne), award of retirements to Sheila McElroy, Jason Skane and Ann Freitas with listed effective dates, and several member transfers and refunds with dollar amounts recorded in the packet. The board also unanimously approved a travel request for the April Directors conference in Edgartown with PERAC support noted.
The board adjourned after completing its agenda.
