The Lake City City Council met March 2 and approved several routine FY27 personnel and procedural resolutions while setting public hearings on major fiscal items.

The council discussed a proposed water-rate increase (Resolution 2026-15) and, after questioning and requests for more information, voted to table the resolution so staff can continue the rate study and consult the city’s financial advisors.
