The Lisbon Board of Finance on June 17, 2026, voted unanimously to approve two $750 line-item transfers to cover registrar salaries for an upcoming referendum and accepted the minutes of its May 20 meeting.
The actions were taken during a short regular meeting called to order by Chairman Wayne Donaldson at 7:01 p.m. Board member Richard Rogers moved to accept the May 20 regular meeting minutes; Susan Hull seconded the motion, which the board recorded as unanimously approved.
Under new business, the board approved two separate transfers requested by the selectmen to cover referendum expenses. The first moved $750 from LI 52550 (Supplies & Expenses) to LI 52512 (Republican Registrar Salary); the second moved $750 from LI 52550 to LI 52511 (Democratic Registrar Salary). Both motions were made by Richard Rogers, seconded by Randy Baah, and were recorded as carried by unanimous vote.
The meeting record also notes routine reviews of the Treasurer's report, General Government, Board of Education and CNR reports with no comments; a chairman's report that the Board of Education has provided two quotes for parking-lot work and two for media-center air conditioning (the Purchase Policy requires three valid quotes); and an LCS Science Room Building Committee update reporting that furniture quotes have been received and that the committee will meet twice monthly for the project's duration. The fire house project was recorded as complete and its committee disbanded. The board noted that LER financials had not been received and that the chairman would follow up.
The meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m. on a motion by Richard Rogers, seconded by Mike Zelasky.
