Council hires engineer and sets public hearing for sidewalk improvements

Resolution 26-007 authorized the engineering agreement (moved by Amy Blair, seconded by Bill Bloom) and Resolution 26-008 (moved by Blair, seconded by Ryan Salvador) called for the public hearing and directed advertising of bids. The council also approved Resolution 26-010 authorizing a permanent easement and temporary construction easements with property owner Cody Bock for $337.70 at 1698 Iowa Drive.
The measures passed unanimously on roll call. The engineering agreement funds design and pre-bid services; the public hearing will allow the council to receive public comment on the project scope and estimated cost before bids are opened.
