Hudson council approves survey, hiring, transfers, policy and testing contracts
Summary

- Resolution 3442: Approved transfers to clean up fund balances after bond receipts and prior reporting inconsistencies; staff explained the transfers were intended to correct misallocated balances and improve the treasurer's report.
- Resolution 3443: Adopted a revised social-media policy after amending the policy to replace the title "city administrator" with "city clerk or any elected officials" and to correct a town name to "Hudson."
- Equipment purchase: Authorized purchase of a valve/hydrant exerciser (public works) not to exceed $2,750 to support annual hydrant testing.
- Bridge testing: Authorized lead and asbestos testing by Terracon for the Butterfield Bridge replacement project in an amount not to exceed $3,000; staff said testing is required before bidding and that much of the project will be covered by a grant.
All items were approved by motion and carried during the meeting. The council did not amend the dollar amounts in the motions on the floor.
