The council removed Resolution 3429 (the 2026–2031 police-department union contract) from the resolution calendar because the final union draft had not been received, and proceeded with other business. The chair stated Item A was withdrawn pending delivery of the final contract draft.
On personnel travel, the council approved the police chief’s request to attend an FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) working-group meeting March 3–5 in a location listed in the transcript as “Pixport, Pennsylvania.” The chief said the FBI will arrange travel and reimburse all expenses and that no overtime would be paid; another officer will cover shifts while the chief is away.
