The meeting record says student Eli Seiderer attended a March 17 commission meeting and proposed that students work directly with seniors on technology issues. Commission members discussed having students help seniors after lunch programs at the Senior Center on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; a Ms. Marshall recommended those times and encouraged Seiderer to meet with the student liaison to the commission.
Members said they will continue the conversation at the next Aging and Disability Commission meeting to refine a schedule and roles for student volunteers.
