The Sawyer County Public Safety Committee voted Sept. 5 to approve a resolution adjusting medical examiner fees effective Oct. 1, 2024, and forwarded the measure to the County Board for final action. Vice Chair Marc Helwig made the motion to approve; Jeff Hoehne seconded and the motion carried without a recorded negative vote.
Administrator Andy Albarado presented the resolution to the committee and described the proposed change as an adjustment to the current fee schedule effective Oct. 1, 2024. The committee recorded the motion and a second; the minutes reflect that the motion “carried without negative vote.” The committee did not record a numerical roll-call tally in the minutes.
The resolution will appear on the County Board agenda for further consideration. No substantive debate or amendment of the resolution is recorded in the committee minutes.
