Coryell County hears grants and IT updates; several budget and policy items receive no action

Justin Latham told the court that the Road and Bridge Department has paused projects because of a lack of funding. For LCFP, Judge Miller said he will coordinate a meeting with municipalities and water companies for a question‑and‑answer session with Blackland.
The court discussed issuing an RFP and reviewing total claims under the county's current healthcare contract; the transcript records the discussion but no award or formal action. The court also discussed the county's current listing of positions designated as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act; the preliminary list is scheduled for consideration at the June 23 meeting.
No action was taken on consideration of a Comprehensive Fund Balance Policy or on a proposed Budget Amendment for FY2026.
