Members agreed the proposed action should receive a negative declaration based on the supporting documentation and the planned mitigation and monitoring.
Board members also received an update on Midtown Plaza: staff said the environmental assessment (EA) is still in process and that crews had to secure the site after a recent break‑in, with hopes expressed for demolition this fall. No final decisions on Midtown were made at the meeting.
The drinking‑water resolution passed with board majority support; the clerk noted one absent member (Barb) who had indicated she would support the measure if present.
