Purchasing staff told the board they received 40 proposals in response to the solicitation and recommended awards to 32 vendors for an estimated annual cost of $2 million for an initial one-year term with four one-year renewal options. Staff said eight proposals were determined non-responsive because they were missing required technical information.
The recommendation was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The purchasing department said the full list of awarded firms appears in the board packet and will be posted online for public review. Staff identified the general fund as the primary funding source for these purchases.
Implementation: the purchasing office will finalize contracts with the awarded vendors and manage the catalog discount arrangements. The board did not record a roll-call vote in the transcript; action was taken by voice vote.
