The chair said the program showcases communities that integrate technology, education and natural resources to support sustainable growth.
The county described the partnership as a coordinated effort with the Fremont Economic Development Corporation, the Fremont County Film Commission and local filmmakers Ben Black (Ben Black Films) and Sage Goodwin (Tie-Dye Sheep LLC), who provided additional footage. The chair said the segment will have a viewership of "about 80 million people across the country and around the world" when completed this fall and that the county is planning a local premiere in downtown Canyon City.
Commissioners characterized the filming as an opportunity to present Fremont County's mix of agriculture, advanced manufacturing and outdoor recreation to a national audience.
