Janette recused herself from the vote because she leads the project; commissioners recorded their votes individually in a roll-call style and the motion passed with four yes votes and one recusal.
The commission will forward its recommendation to Town Manager Josh for placement on a select board agenda; Janette and the Save Our Salamanders volunteers will coordinate with the select board and staff on timing if formal approval is required.
