EDC notes cannabis approvals; Chamber participation to be confirmed

At its Sept. 11 meeting, the Economic Development Committee noted recent local cannabis business developments and discussed outreach to the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce. Committee members recorded that the Upstate Pines cannabis project has been approved and that the Lofty cannabis dispensary has been licensed.
Vanessa Shafer said she will check with Agatha Bacelar regarding Bacelar’s participation in future EDC meetings on behalf of the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce. No formal action was taken on chamber participation at this meeting.
The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for 8:40 a.m. on Sept. 25, 2024, at the Village Building.
