Trustees encouraged community members to use the new hours to demonstrate demand, and staff said programming for families will be scheduled to complement other branch services.
No formal vote was required at the meeting; staff will finalize the pilot hours, publicize the schedule on the library website and report usage back to the board after the pilot period.
