Council adopts $21.3 million mid-year budget amendment, funds Sprawls Horizon projects

Allocations listed in the staff presentation include $975,000 for CRA property acquisition; a $4,648,443 carry forward for park station renovations; $300,000 to demolish a water tower; additional funding for cleaning and rehabilitating a 30-inch sewer line by Lift Station 31; $700,000 for the 92nd Avenue force main; $900,000 carry forward for the 76th Street improvement; and a $3,000,000 carry forward for Sprawls Horizon Sports Complex project costs, plus a partial operating budget for that complex of $2,268,577.
Council Member Sibille moved to adopt Ordinance 2026-19 (the mid-year budget amendment); the motion passed unanimously.
