Stone Park committee: Clean Up Day and Memorial Day Parade draw positive turnout; Music in the Park set for June 18

Trustee Loretta J. Teets told the committee on May 26 that the village's recent Clean Up Day was successful, with eight residents scheduling large-item pickups and two dumpsters filled. She said residents expressed satisfaction and Public Works was pleased with the new event location.
Teets and Clerk Laura Cassidy-Hatchet also recapped the Memorial Day Parade, reporting roughly 65 classic cars and more than 40 horses participated. Cassidy-Hatchet said she will send a feedback email about the parade and asked trustees to respond.
Trustee Simplisio Roman provided a flyer for Music in the Park, scheduled for June 18 at 6:00 p.m.; Public Works confirmed a banner and outreach plans. Public Works Director Jessica Ramirez reported crews prepared for the Clean Up Day, performed post-event cleanup, responded to eight resident calls for service, set up decorations and flags for the parade, removed parade debris, and swept streets after the event.
No public comments were recorded during the committee meeting; the committee recorded no concerns about the events.
