The North Fayette Township Zoning Hearing Board conducted its annual reorganization and administrative business at its Jan. 22, 2026 meeting.
Mr. John Scott moved, and Mr. Chip McCarthy seconded, motions to appoint Brant Miller as chair, Dan Patterson as vice chair, and Debbie Midgley as recording secretary for 2026; each motion carried unanimously. The board also reappointed Anthony Cosgrove and the law firm of Dillon McCandless King Coulter & Graham, LLP as solicitor under previously referenced rates and terms, and appointed each board member as a hearing officer for the year.
The board approved the minutes from the Dec. 18, 2025 meeting. The chair noted the board had met in executive session earlier to receive solicitor advice and that the evening’s zoning hearing was a continuation of the Dec. 18 hearing, so no additional advertisement was necessary.
Separately, the board recorded receipt of a letter from Craig Jubic, P.E. of Gateway Engineers stating that H&K Equipment is withdrawing its variance request (2025-4); the solicitor said no further action was required. The meeting adjourned at 7:24 p.m.
