St. Bernard board approves personnel-evaluation plan and multiple policy revisions

The St. Bernard Parish School Board on June 23 approved a personnel evaluation plan and multiple policy revisions recommended by committee members.
On a motion by Mr. Lowe, seconded by Mr. Warner, the personnel evaluation plan (agenda item 5.1) was approved by a 10-0 vote. The board also considered and approved committee recommendations to revise school board policies JBCBB (agenda item 5.2), JB (5.3), DFL (5.4) and DIC (5.5). Each policy revision was moved and seconded by board members, and each passed unanimously, recorded as 10-0.
The motions were presented as committee recommendations; no contentious debate was recorded in the transcript. The board proceeded through the policy items in sequence and recorded each vote.
