Millis introduces new middle‑school principal and approves Little Free Library donation

Taylor described his 24 years in education, including time as a high‑school math teacher and later as a department head and assistant principal, and said he is “very much looking forward to being the next Millis Middle School principal.”
Separately, the committee accepted a donation from Kathy Disincenzo to install a Little Free Library on Clyde Brown Elementary’s grounds to honor her mother’s 85th birthday on July 31. Mullaney said the donor has coordinated with the school principal and the director of operations on a location; the packet records the donation amount as roughly $800.
Robyn Briggs moved to approve the Little Free Library and the motion carried by voice vote. Committee members welcomed Taylor and thanked community donors for supporting school literacy initiatives. The committee did not assign further dates for a public unveiling in the record.
