Council discussed the projects as part of broader water-system maintenance and refurbishment planning. Mary Bullock, city manager, said the city plans to cash one of its certificates of deposit to fund upcoming water-tank refurbishment work and that other investments were performing adequately.
Both motions passed unanimously. The council did not specify a construction timeline in the meeting minutes; staff will oversee contracting and scheduling for the emergency roof work and the Ruby Street repairs.
