For the golf course, staff recommended Warwick Builders as the lowest acceptable bidder to repair and upgrade two restrooms (identified as facilities on holes 5 and 12) and cited FEMA reimbursement for damage from Hurricane Helen covering the majority of the cost; staff reported the bid for both facilities as $41,148 and said the golf‑course operating budget would cover the difference between the FEMA reimbursement and the project cost.
Councilman Jones moved to approve the purchases and Councilman Colby seconded; the motion passed by voice vote with no further discussion.
Staff said the golf‑course work includes new siding, windows, doors, roof shingles, plumbing fixtures, paint and epoxy floor sealer. The council approved the purchases as presented and will proceed with procurement and contract execution.
