Board members and staff said the engineers prepared the application with those areas in mind and that the application identifies likely limits; staff pledged to send a copy of the resolution and application details to concerned property owners.
The board clarified that it is not committing a village match for the county-funded study; county officials encouraged the village to apply without a match because much of the affected area involves county infrastructure. Anthony, the village engineer, will coordinate the submission and work with county planners and affected property owners to define responsibilities and potential remediation steps.
The resolution was approved by the board; staff will follow up with residents who requested more precise project limits and provide application documents upon request.
