Rogersville commission hears updates on stormwater, road construction and subdivision water issue

Bybee told the commission that the Maplewood and Dempsey Street stormwater project remains ongoing and that DMan construction activity is occurring on VV/Watts Road. He also noted a rezone request scheduled for Sept. 5, 2024. The minutes do not include technical details, timelines or funding sources for the stormwater or road work.
During the alderman update, an Alderman reported on paid bills and raised a Leabrooke subdivision water issue; the minutes record the concern but do not specify causes, affected addresses or next steps. P&Z Chairperson Tatyana Osenniy framed the meeting in the context of local growth, saying Rogersville is "the fastest growing city in SW Missouri."
