Prairie City council approves consent agenda, major invoices and several purchases; water heater approved with one abstention

Council later approved purchase of two Rockville speakers and a Triton mixer board for $779.79 for use at special events; Councilor Phil Holland moved approval and Councilor Deb Townsend will draft a policy for equipment use.
A water heater quote for City Hall from Royal Plumbing for $1,476.93 (moved from the consent agenda into New Business) was approved; the transcript records Ayes — Disney, Ingle, Townsend and an abstention from Holland due to a conflict of interest. The alternate quote from Sneller Plumbing was $2,670.40.
The council also voted to refund a $1.30 ACH processing fee to all ACH-paying utility customers; that motion carried unanimously.
The consent and procurement approvals were recorded by roll call and the meeting proceeded to other business.
