Clerk-Treasurer Alana Paumen reported an audit of claims, discussed the unemployment quarterly statement and reported completion of a computer install; she also noted staff would seek chairman approval before working from home.
Chairman Mike Helman moved to approve Clerk-Treasurer training, seconded by Supervisor Andy Christensen; the motion carried 4-0. Vice Chairman Brandon Geyen moved to set 2025 fire fees at $60 per parcel in Monticello and $95 per parcel in Maple Lake; the motion was seconded by Christensen and carried 4-0.
Under old business the board noted that Mr. Haack reported receiving a citation from the WCSO; the board stated it would follow the county’s lead on any further action. Under new business the board agreed to host the Wright County Township Officers meeting on Jan. 9, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
