Tolland Conservation Commission meeting recap: withdrawal, extensions, and next steps

NOI 306-100, submitted by Mark Grzymski for seawall and docking work at Otis Reservoir, was withdrawn by the property owner; he intends to re-file after resolving a Chapter 91 license issue with the existing dock and seawall.
Commissioners approved an extension request for Amanda Cernitz (Lot 17, Otter Pond) to submit a final restoration plan by April 23; an Order of Enforcement from Jan. 29 remains in place and temporary erosion controls are installed. The agenda also listed an extension request from MASS DCR for an NOI (306-0048) related to an Otis Reservoir drawdown; the published minutes do not record an outcome for that item.
The commission recorded that Wildwood Property Owners Association’s NOI 306-0093 for beach maintenance had expired and denied an extension (minutes state 'denied 2-0'); the record notes Nichol Magni recused herself and that Wildwood must file a new NOI listing planned beach work.
In new business the commission approved the Jan. 29, 2026 minutes, set the next meeting for April 28 at 5:15 p.m., and adjourned at 5:48 p.m. The minutes were signed by Chair Les Cohn.
