Wolcott Planning & Zoning approves minutes, tables text amendment and notes Tractor Supply progress

The Wolcott Planning & Zoning Commission convened its regular meeting at 7:41 p.m. on June 3 and approved the public hearing and regular meeting minutes from May 20, 2026. Commissioner Daniel LaMontagne moved to approve the minutes; Commissioner Debra Kiely seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
In old business the commission formally tabled application 260238 (RLP Associates text amendment regarding common mailboxes and bus shelters) until the June 17 meeting by unanimous vote on a motion by Daniel LaMontagne, seconded by Jeff Stango, so absent members can review the recording and the Town Attorney can provide legal guidance. CZEO David Kalinowski reported he inspected the Tractor Supply site recently and said work is progressing satisfactorily. The commission briefly discussed regulations governing lawn signs in residential zones and asked staff for clarification. The meeting adjourned at 7:49 p.m.
