Nash noted conditions in the staff packet that would limit outside customer vehicles and require that tire storage be located in a building shown on the site plan.
Applicant Chad Pawson told the commission the business was small‑scale and family run: "It's appointment only… it's just me and my son doing this." Pawson said he plans to store tires inside barns or other on‑site buildings until he accumulates enough to have a recycler pick them up and that delivery vehicles would be small vans, not semitrailers.
Commissioners asked about tire disposal logistics and whether tire storage needed to be in a separate building; the applicant agreed to revise the site plan so tire storage would be in a different building, and the motion to approve the interim use permit was amended to reflect that. Commissioner Bees moved the approval and Commissioner Perrell seconded; the commission voted in favor.
