Committee members said the full council should review auditor satisfaction in an executive session — a practice noted in the town’s calendar — and possibly decide in advance whether to negotiate an extension or prepare to send the audit services contract out to bid. Staff committed to ask the auditor about extension terms and costs and to schedule a July executive session with council if members want to move sooner than the previously planned January discussion.
