Franklin County agrees to accept deed for Pioneer Cemetery
Summary

John Heise moved to accept the transfer of the Pioneer Cemetery deed to the commissioners; the motion was seconded by Jerry Wendel and carried by voice vote. The presenter and commissioners noted the cemetery is tax-exempt and that day-to-day maintenance will continue as before.
No fiscal appropriation or change in maintenance practice was recorded at the meeting; the action formalizes the county's responsibility for the cemetery in public records.
