At the Sept. 30 meeting the Carbon County Board of Commissioners approved a consent agenda that included multiple purchase requests and reimbursements. Items recorded in the minutes included: Jakes Collision & Paint for hail damage repair ($8,277.78) and for deer damage ($4,961); refurbished MDT officer computers ($6,000); a BHA spay and neuter grant ($600); Freightliner transmission ($11,671.21); a vendor invoice for Roberts Water & Sewer District well house improvements; and lodging reimbursement for Treasurer Leah Niemi ($577.28) and for Commissioner Bill Bullock.
After approving the consent agenda (Miller moved; Bullock seconded; motion carried), the board closed the meeting to discuss Weed District matters and later for an HR discussion. The minutes record that the commissioners did not approve the Invasive Plants Board request to hire Pam Schwend as an interim Invasive Plants District Coordinator.
