Douglasville council unanimously adopts agenda, minutes and consent agenda

The Douglasville City Council on June 1 unanimously approved the night’s meeting agenda, the record minutes from two May meetings and the consent agenda.
Councilman Estes moved to adopt the regular meeting agenda for June 1, 2026 (item 26-177); Councilman Call Wellsman seconded and Mayor Rochelle Robinson called the vote. "All those in favor of adopting this agenda item, please say 'I,'" Robinson said. The mayor then declared the motion approved.
The council then approved minutes for the May 14 work session and the May 18 special meeting and budget adoption (item 26-178) after a motion by Coach Watts and a second from Council Member Caldwell. The consent agenda was also moved, seconded and approved without items being pulled for separate discussion.
These were procedural, noncontroversial actions the council handles at the start of its regular voting meetings. No substantive debate or amendments were offered on any of the three items. The council proceeded to presentations and public comments after completing the votes.
