The Alton City Council adopted its annual budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, at a special session on April 21, 2026.
Council Member Jorgensen introduced Resolution 26-11, which the council moved and seconded for adoption. Council Member Plathe seconded the motion; on roll call, Jorgensen, Plathe, Kleinhesselink and Mulder voted aye and Council Member Frederes was absent. Mayor Dan Vande Griend declared the resolution duly adopted.
