Council adopts net-metering ordinance to comply with new state rules

Councilwoman Barbara Bellm moved approval of Bill #26-67/Ordinance #3450; Councilmember Napper seconded. Roll-call vote: Klaus, Sloan, Bellm and Napper voted aye; none voted nay. The motion carried.
The council did not specify the statutory citations in the meeting record; the ordinance replaces local net-metering and interconnection rules as attached to the bill. The ordinance will take effect according to the timetable established in the ordinance and state requirements.
